01 Day: Arrival Madras (Chennai)


☛ You arrive in Chennai by international flight. Chennai, home to ancient Dravidian civilization, hardly touched by the invasions from the North, which is often claimed to be the "pure" India. After a traditional 'Swagat' (Welcome) our representative would assist you at the airport and to our hotel for check in and overnight stay


02 Day: Chennai - Mahabalipuram (65 kms - 1 ½ hrs)


☛ After breakfast take a half day sightseeing tour touching Fort St. George, San Thome Cathedral and the museums that contain the world's most complete and impressive selection of Chola bronzes and stone sculptures from South India and the Deccan. Later, drive on to Mamallapuram, The city, built in the 7th century, this ancient city is said to be a sculptor's delight, boasting of some of India's most sublime rock-cut art, for which it is now a World Heritage site. On arrival transfer to the hotel. The evening free for visit to local market and individual activities. Overnight at the hotel at Mahabalipuram.


03 Day: Mahabalipuram -Kanchipuram -Mahabalipuram (65 km - 1 ½ Hrs.)


☛ Today morning after breakfast take a sightseeing tour of famous Shore Temple, Arujna's Penance & five Rathas. Then drive to Kanchipuram to visit Ekambareshwar Temple, Kailashnath Temple, Kamakshi Temple, the Vaikunthaperumal Temple, all built in the 7th and 8th centuries. With a weaving tradition dating back to the Pallava era (when silk was the royal cloth), Kanchipuram is justly famous for its particularly fine silk saris, embellished with stunning patterns. Later drive back to Mahabalipuram. Overnight at the hotel.


04 Day: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry (135 kms - 3 hrs)


☛ After breakfast check out the hotel and drive to Pondicherry, the capital of the French colonies in India since the 17th century. Afternoon visit the local market and evening free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel.


05 Day: Pondicherry


☛ After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Pondicherry visit the Aurobindo Ashram, which has been a seat of learning and Vedic cultures since ancient times proceed to Auroville 10 kms from Pondicherry, the planned city of Dawn of the new world. Overnight at the hotel.


06 Day: Pondicherry - Trichy (203 kms - 4 ½ hrs)


☛ After breakfast check out the hotel and drive t to Trichy via Chidambaram, known for its Natraj temple. The Nataraja is dedicated to Shiva in various aspects. The temple is made up of 04 halls. The nritta sabha, the hall of dances, the deva sabha, the hall of festivals, the kanaka sabha, and the raja sabha. The raja sabha is by far the most spectacular with 1000 pillars and here the pandyas celebrated their victory. Later you will stopover at Tanjore to visit the famous Brihadeshwara temple at Tanjore. After visit contiue to drive to Tricky, on arrival transfer to the hotel for overnight stay at Tricky.


07 Day: Trichy - Madurai (140 kms - 3 hours)


☛ After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Trichy visiting the ancient temples dedicated to Lord Ganpati, 434 steps cut out into the rock side and interspersed with shrines lead to the temple. Yet another flight leads to Temple of Lord Shiva. Followed by visit to Sri Ranganathaswami Temple At Srirangam - Located 7-km from Trichy is Srirangam, the abode of the Supreme Lord, Sri Ranganatha, the reclining form of Lord Vishnu. Later in the afternoon you will drive to Madurai. This evening you may optionally visit the Meenakshi Mandir for an Aarti ceremony at, overnight at the hotel.


08 Day: Madhurai


☛ After breakfast, visit to Meenakshi Sundareshwar, one of the largest temple complexes in India built between the 16th and 18th centuries. Apart from the estimated 33 million sculptures there, the temple is absolutely absorbing with the endless rounds of ceremonies, prostration of countless devotees and glittering market stalls, later visit Tiruparankundram Murugan Temple, Palamuthirsolai Murugan Temple. Overnight at Madurai.


09 Day: Madurai - Kodaikanal: (120 kms - 2 hrs)


☛ AAfter breakfast, check out and drive to Kodaikanal. On arrival transfer to the hotel, after relax visit Solar Physics observatory, Museum and Orchidarium and enjoy nature of the hill station. Free time for boating etc. Overnight stay at hotel.


10 Day: Kodaikanal-Ooty: (235 kms - 6 hrs)


☛ After breakfast, drive to Ooty. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Rest of evening free for leisure. Or you go for boating and horse riding, local market. Overnight at the hotel in Ooty.


11 Day: Ooty


☛ After breakfast take a sightseeing of Ooty visiting Dodabeta Peak-the highest Peak in Nilgiri range at an altitude of 2623 mtrs. (Excellent Location for Photography) & visit Botanical gardens. After lunch proceed to enjoy Boating & Horse riding at Ooty Lake. Overnight at Ooty.


12 Day: Ooty - Mudumalai: (100 kms - 1 ½ hrs)


☛ After breakfast, drive to Madhubamlai via dense forests of ecluptes trees, arrive & check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Dr Jaylalita Wild Animal Sanctuary to watch different varieties of animals such as tiger, panther, elephants, deer etc. Return back to hotel for overnight stay.


13 Day: Mudumalai - Mysore (80 kms - 1 ½ hrs)


☛ After breakfast drive to Mysore. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free, in the evening you can go to handicraft market for sandal products, Mysore is known the world over for its exotic sandalwood and rich silks. Its grand and imposing palaces, majestic temples, gardens leave an ever-lasting impression on the visitor. Situated 770m above sea level, Mysore has a warm and cool climate throughout the year. Overnight at Mysore.


14 Day: Mysore


☛ After a breakfast take a sight seeing tour visiting Maharaja Palace built in 1911-1912. The Palace is harmonious syntheses of the Hindu and scenery style of architecture with archways, domes, turrets, colonnades and sculptures, which are magnificent. St. Philomena's cathedral - folklore museum - Brindavan gardens & spectacular musical fountains & Government Buildings. Overnight at hotel.


15 Day: Mysore - Bangalore (140 kms - 3 hours)


☛ After breakfast check out the hotel and drive to Bangalore, on arrival transfer to the hotel. In the evening you can visit to the city tour for to enjoy shopping, dine at restaurants and pubs of the city. And see the culture and lifestyle of the local people. Return to the hotel for overnight stay at Bangalore.


16 Day: Bangalore


☛ After breakfast take a sight seeing tour of Bangalore city, visiting the Cubbon Park spread over 100 acres, and having a variety of flora. Later visit the Maharaja's Palace, the Indian Institute of Science, the Public Library, the State Government Museum, and Vidhana Soudha, an imposing structure in granite built in the Dravidian style. See the Bull Temple and visit the Mysore Arts and Craft Centre. Overnight at the hotel.


17 Day: Bangalore - Chennai


☛ Morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the connecting flight to Chennai, on arrival board the scheduled flight for hometown. On departure, tour concludes with happy memories.
